This election season, CreativeOhio is partnering with the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) for ArtsVote Ohio: a nonpartisan, statewide effort to get Ohio’s creative sector to the polls.

Our mission is to inspire and support Ohio’s creative sector to participate in democracy. We provide Ohio’s creatives with the resources and know-how to encourage a strong voter turnout and engagement in the legislative process.

We envision a creative sector in Ohio that fully recognizes its influence, embraces the right to vote, and uses its collective voice to shape the future of our state and nation.

The new ArtsVote Ohio website is currently in development, and we’re looking to pay artists for pre-existing work that inspires creatives to be involved in shaping their communities, in the future, and in the democratic process. Our goal is to fill the website with a diverse range of art from all areas of the state. GCAC has generously offered to pay $100 per piece for the digital use of art.

  • The artwork should be nonpartisan.
  • Each artist whose work is featured on ArtsVote Ohio will have a short bio and links to their social media accounts and website.
  • At this time, we are looking for pre-existing work.
