“We’ve long been impressed with the advocacy that comes from the Mahoning Valley Region, and are thrilled to be able to honor this year’s suite of winners in person at the CreativeOhio Champion Advocacy Awards Luncheon,” said CreativeOhio Foundation board member Sue Porter, who also serves as the Executive Director of BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. Porter led the efforts selecting this year’s group of winners. Nominations were sourced locally from the Mahoning Valley region with its affinity for arts and culture evident in the overwhelming number of submissions.
